Being Present and in the NOW
“A Deep Wide Open Sacred Space” is how one caller described this call towards the end and it so accurately describes the essence of what came forward today.
Mary and Suzanne shared with us the important of BEING PRESENT and being in the NOW. They shared that there are so many jewels, miracles and blessings in the NOW and as we learn to be present, we really start to SEE what is here for us in the moment.
This is especially helpful for our writing process as the words flow through in the NOW. They come through as we are PRESENT to what is here for us in each and every moment.
Mary and Suzanne shared with us poems that really speak to the miracles found within the present moment. Here were the poems:
A Blessing for your Soul…
The Divine ~
Carol Fazakas (www.partneringwiththedivine.com)
A Morning Offering
I bless the night that nourished my heart
To set the ghosts of longing free
Into the flow and figure of dream
That went to harvest from the dark
Bread for the hunger no one sees.
All that is eternal in me
Welcome the wonder of this day,
The field of brightness it creates
Offering time for each thing
To arise and illuminate.
I place on the altar of dawn:
The quiet loyalty of breath,
The tent of thought where I shelter,
Wave of desire I am shore to
And all beauty drawn to the eye.
May my mind come alive today
To the invisible geography
That invites me to new frontiers,
To break the dead shell of yesterdays,
To risk being disturbed and changed.
May I have the courage today
To live the life that I would love,
To postpone my dream no longer
But do at last what I came here for
And waste my heart on fear no more.
~ John O’Donohue ~
Mary and Suzanne discussed what the important elements brought forward here. One being that we need to “risk being disturbed and changed” – we have to risk in order to answer the calling. And the second being that “Life is a series of delicious moments” and we only see them as we are PRESENT with them.
There is a beckoning… a Calling for us to be present and notice what is here right now in this moment.
They then invited us to do a writing process. We first started with RELEASING THE PRESSURE and then went in to answer the question:
‘What do I need to know in order to forgive myself?”
After we took time to write, we opened the call to allow everyone to share what came forward.
The insights that came through for everyone were so sacred, so profound and so meaningful that you really want to listen to the call to tap into this sacredness.
Our Homework for this week is to just take time daily to write. We can either write around the questions already asked, or use our own questions. Mary and Suzanne even suggested taking an object that is in the room and writing about that and just see what comes through.
We strongly encourage you to post your Sacred Messages (what comes through in your writing) in the box at the bottom of this page. We LOVE to read and share the writing as it so inspires and enlivens us.
You can share with us the messages you receive by entering your messages in the Message Box Below and then
